Shipping & Returns
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, most items will ship within 1-2 business days, unless otherwise noted in the product listing. Special Orders lead times (i.e. time to ship) will be discussed over the phone with the customer.
Any orders over $99 ships free* to the contiguous 48 states (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). Orders receiving free shipping will be shipped via ground. International and orders requiring freight shipping do NOT qualify for free shipping.
*Note: Any item requiring freight shipping does not qualify for Free Shipping.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). You should expect to receive your refund within 24-48 hours of Dedicated Automotive receiving your return.
NOTE: Original costs of shipping the item to you will NOT be refunded.
Please keep in mind the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days) and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, please follow the process below to request a return:
- Log-in to your Dedicated Automotive account and click on Orders
- Check the box next to the order/item you wish to return and click the Return button on the bottom right of the page
- In the line of the order/item you are returning, please select the quantity you are returning to Dedicated Automotive
- Please select the reason for your return and make any comments in the field provided about the return
- Click the Submit Return button on the bottom right of the page
Once we receive your return request, we will respond quickly with a status update, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number, and instructions for how to return items from your order. You may also find the instructions for returning items as follows:
- Place, secure, and seal the item and any instructions, warranty, or other documents in its original packaging & box
- Place the original product, within its box, inside another box
- Use a black Sharpie, or other distinctive, bold pen, to write your RMA number on the outermost of the box (e.g. "RMA# 567)
- Take the box to the shipper of your choice
- Please retain a copy of your shipping receipt and tracking number
- Email email@example.com with your tracking number, name of shipping company, and date shipped
Once we receive the item, we will issue a refund to your original method of payment within 24-48 hours.
Under certain circumstances, an item will NOT be refunded. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
- Product has been installed or otherwise modified/used
- The seal on electrical parts has been broken
- Product is shipped without it's original packaging, installation hardware, or documents
- The RMA number was not written on the outermost box
NOTE: The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
